Oana Tanase

Oana is a gifted teacher who has been a member of the Coaching Constellations teaching faculty for many years, teaching on every level of our international in-person programmes including our flagship international in-person Practitioner programme. Oana also initiated and with founder John Whittington, co-designed our bespoke online facilitation kit and brings the profound power of this applied philosophy fully to life in a digital environment.

She supports participants to build bridges between head, heart and whole body to enable sense making of the resonance showing up in all three centres of intelligence. She guides coaches to use that information to support the process of learning, then apply the stance, principles and practices that support flow in organisational systems.

As ‘words create worlds’, resonant systemic language is very important to her, words that change the individual, team and then the wider system. She teaches people to shape their embodied experience into systemic questions and resonant sentences, and so ground new possibilities from the field into practical reality.

“I really enjoyed observing Oana in action, her language and approach is completely different from what I have seen before. I like how she took the time to answer everyone’s questions.”

Darlene, coach

“Oana has a very gentle and respectful presence that holds space beautifully. Her deep knowledge of the subject is shared joyfully with the group and the constellation exercises she facilitates are elegant, intuitively understood and hugely impactful.”

Anne, Coach and Facilitator

“Oana is so skilled at creating a space that served the learning and respected the subject. Somehow everything felt spacious, but we still covered so much.”

Naomi, Learning Designer and Coach

“Oana is a wonderfully sensitive and knowledgeable facilitator. She allowed us to have an embodied learning. As well as capture key points to anchor processes.”

Olivier, Personal Development coach

“Oana is an amazing facilitator and the way she holds space for learning, reflections, practice and Q&A is inspiring.”

Ujjaval, executive Coach

“Oana is amazing in her delivery. Clear explanations about the underlying philosophy, combined with her use of analogies, metaphors and quotes was very helpful in cementing the learning.”

Sue, Leadership coach

The Book

In response to the interest in ‘Systemic Coaching and Constellations’  when it was first  published in 2012, it was updated and published in 2nd Edition in 2016. In June 2020 the expanded and refreshed 3rd edition was published and offers a very practical introduction to the stance, principles and practices of systemic coaching and constellations.

It offers a rich resource of exercises and practical examples of how this methodology can be applied with individuals, groups and teams. Participants of the workshops and trainings – whether new to this methodology or already experienced – are invited to read the book to enhance their learning and experiment with applying it.

Author John Whittington, was invited to bring this training, that he designed with Oana, to Vancouver Island by Lily Seto.

“I wouldn’t have believed the simple power of this approach had the training not been so experiential. It was excellent and I found the examples very helpful to understand how the methodology could be applied with individuals and teams.”

Nicola Maxwell, Fundamentals Part I, Edinburgh, 2020

“This is unequivocally the best training I have participated in in the past twenty years.”

Sheena Bailey, (PCC) coach and coach supervisor

“I applied what we learnt and it helped my client understand the dynamics of her team in a completely new way!”

Nadege Welsch, Cross Cultural coach

“The quality of facilitation and teaching is very high. Inspiring!”

Orianne Corman, coach and facilitator

“The Fundamentals training left me feeling enriched and curious.”

Sabine Stritch, Leadership Development coach

“Extremely powerful personal and professional development.”

Alison Grace, leadership coach

Cristian Nicolae. Executive coach
